Getting sick sucks.
Yeah I know, I'm supposed to say something profound or even entertaining or at least make it relative to Photography..I'll get to that. There is a connection in there somewhere. So as of Tuesday I've been forced to slow down on my workflow due to the side effects of the drugs...Thanks Theraflu!
I promise there's a connection to Photography after the jump!

...so as I was saying the connection between Photography and Theraflu is pretty straightforward.
The actual act of taking the image is just the tip of the iceberg to all the work that is done to get the client the image that they are paid for.
First is uploading the images into the computer.
Then sorting out "the best images" that will be edited. This part takes the longest. Seriously, sometimes I end up looking at the same 3 images for an hour trying to figure out which is the absolute best image that my client will receive edited. Sometimes the difference between the images can be as miniscule as the placement of 3 strands of hair (yeah, I know, but I want my clients to have the ABSOLUTE best images...)
Then it's the editing of the images. Lighting corrections, contrast and color adjustments, and various other filters and settings to make the images as incredible as I can. That becomes a problem because, at times, I can view the same exact image in 3 or more different ways and then I'm stuck deciding which final version is the best. The Black and White? Sepia toned? Saturated highlights? Sometimes this takes just as long as the sorting step...
Finally it's making the custom design of the CD that I present to my clients. That's probably the easiest and fastest step...So what does that have to do with Theraflu?
Simple...Right now, I'm lying down in bed in a drug-induced stupor when I should be working on my clients products!!!! I'm losing a lot of time...but I know that when I get back on my feet I'll be spending a couple of sleepless nights to play catch-up. And yes, I have done that before for my clients. And I will do it again. I love the reactions that I get from my clients when they see their images. It's always worth it...Thanks Theraflu... :-)
